HONEST REVIEW or the selection process from a client
I settled on a Mercedes CLE (model 2024), a coupe or convertible, petrol or diesel – it didn't matter. I wanted a light interior and body. I wanted it to be from Spain, with a minimum mileage of 15,000 euros.
Given my experience living in Spain, I decided to start my own search, unhurriedly but specifically.
Local Avito, auto platforms, and other sites were supposed to help, but they were a fiasco.
After a couple of weeks of searching, it turned out... the car had already been sold a month ago, it would be in a month, and so on. The few official dealers were impossible to reach, and even if I did, the clerks knew nothing. I wrote a couple of inquiries to dealers, filled out forms, logged into Mercedes, wasted time, and they sent me a couple of specific options, with an offer to reserve a car for 1,000 euros. When I asked about taxes, how to inspect it, whether I should send a video, or whether it was a factory warranty, I got no answers. Trash...
The trim levels for the same car vary. I gave up and decided to order a new one... crap, only six months later for 80,000 in my trim level.
Result: local auto sales platforms helped me understand that there was nothing to be gained in Spain, I should look in Germany; the selection is literally five times greater.
I called some friends; they were willing to deliver the car I wanted, but taxes, ITV, customs—everyone was confused about the "indications," and I didn't have the time.
To sort out the details myself, I called Para2move.com; I'd seen them on Telegram, in an ad. I just needed to make a receipt based on the information I'd received from my previous agents.
And so it all began.
I didn't expect it.
I expected a catch.
I don't like making decisions without personal contact.
I received systematic answers within a few sessions.
SYSTEMATIC.
I thought, these are some serious scammers, when will they get caught?))).
I decided, let's discuss a potential deal. We discussed it; the risks were minimal.
It's simple.
A car in Spain costs €65, in Germany €55, and the guys charge €300 for a selection and inspection—it's worth the risk. I took the risk. They sent me options, and I chose. Then I paid directly to the official dealer for a 2025 model with 11,000 miles, just like I wanted, with a two-year factory warranty (a €7,000 savings compared to Spain). I paid. Before that, a guy from Para came to inspect the car in person at the dealership for €300. They sent an hour-long video report on the car—details—and Davidych will have a good time)))
After the report, I paid Para a commission for shipping the car to Barcelona, then for the MOT, customs, and license plates. The insurance was cheaper than I expected, so I have something to compare it to.
In fact, after choosing a convertible online in Germany (based strictly on my criteria), it took me 14 days to get the car in my garage with Spanish license plates and insurance.
In fact:
A CLE convertible with 10,000 mileage in Spain costs 65-67,000 rubles—hard to find. I'd have to compromise on the options.
I paid 61,000 rubles with the desired maximum options, including taxes and full support from Para2move.
Important! Para2move is:
⁃ truly personalized service;
⁃ no "Mañana" taboo. I called on weekends, late at night, and they were always available. I was nervous when it was being shipped from Germany, but they kept me updated every six hours;
⁃ they have maximum expertise in ITV, local regulations, customs, CO2, and law enforcement;
⁃ a market-based approach, minimizing operational risks;
⁃ insurance during transit;
⁃ transparent transfers;
I recommend.
